Building 30th

by Geraldo Luiz Monteir

This is a building styled on those of the thirties. I was inspired by terrain piece on Necromundicon. I used Daycell 2mm to do the walls, the balcony and the sidewalk.

To do the bricks of the wall I used a ruler and a wood carving knife to do the horizontal and vertical lines. That is difficult but the result is gratifying. (Gary: Blimey - that's dedication! I think you can probably by styrene sheets with a brick pattern ready moulded).

windows I did with paper card and the glasses with acetate. I used liquid acetone on the acetate for blur the glass. For the gargoyles I used those of the Arcane Door of Games Workshop, but it was very difficult of cutting them. You can use Arcane Architecture gargoyle (Gargoyle1 - 07971/13). The fire hydrant I cut the part of back of the cannon barrel (Warhammer Fantasy Empire - 073972/5). The chimney I used the cannon of Forge World's Griffon. The two side doors were two Necromunda bulkheads. The central door is moved back about 2cm inside and I used toothpicks to do the grating.
